Lyndon Hardy is a New York Times best-selling author of the seven volume fantasy series that begins with Master of the Five Magics. Each of these books is stand-alone and can be read in any order.

He has received a Bachelor of Science degree from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and a PhD in elementary particle physics from the University of California.

While at Caltech, he organized and led the effort lauded as the greatest college prank ever successfully executed – the card trick substitution at the 1961 Rose Bowl game that was broadcast on national television.
